Remote Launch Crossplay Launcher
Overview¶
Crossplay Launcher Remote Execution is a feature that allows you to remotely execute games installed on the Host PC through the Crossplay Launcher on other specific devices.
Hive SDK v4 24.4.0 and later supports Crossplay Launcher Remote Execution.
Usage guide¶
The support scope and usage guidelines for the Crossplay Launcher Remote Execution feature are as follows. For more information on using Crossplay Launcher Remote Execution, refer to Crossplay Remote Execution API Guide.
- When executing a game through remote execution, external automatic login is supported only under the following conditions.
- Both the PlayerID logged in to the Host PC and the device to be executed remotely must have logged in with the same PlayerID.
-
When executing remotely, login is not possible if the PlayerID is not the same as the one previously logged in on the Host PC.
-
When installing Crossplay Launcher v1.0.16.0 or later, a background app for remote execution is automatically installed.
- Background apps are Crossplay Launcher Agent and Remote Launcher Agent, and they are automatically launched when the launcher is launched.
- If the app is uninstalled or not running, remote launching is not possible.
Note
Crossplay Launcher Remote Launching UI is not provided separately. Therefore, game developers must implement it themselves when necessary.
