Unreal Engine 5

This getting started guide will guide you through the process of starting development with the Hive SDK.

Note

The Hive SDK supports various development engines (Android Native, iOS Native, Unity, Unreal Engine, etc.). This guide assumes that you already know how to develop, build, and release apps with each development engine and will guide you on how to use the Hive SDK. For instructions on how to develop, build, and release apps for each development engine, refer to the respective development engine developer center and documentation.

Setting up the development environment

Check and configure the development environment required for using the latest version of the Hive SDK.

Unreal Engine build

To install the Hive SDK, you need Unreal Engine 5 first. Download and build the Unreal Engine source code.

Hive console setup

Join and log in to the Hive console and complete the pre-settings required to use the Hive SDK.
