Access Permission Management

Overview

Access Permission Management manages users who can add, modify, or delete data in the Settings > Metric Settings submenus (Metric Exclusion User Management, Metric Filter Management, Currency Settings, Time Settings).

Only users registered in Access Permission Management can modify data in the Metric Settings submenus. Users who are not registered can only view menus and browse lists.

Note

The user who creates the first workspace in a company is automatically added to the access control list.


What Can You Do?

Business / Marketing

  • If you need to change metric settings, request permission from an administrator registered in Access Permission Management.

Data Analyst

  • To directly manage metric exclusion users, metric filters, currency, and time settings, you must be registered in Access Permission Management.
  • When the analytics point of contact changes within your team, keep the access control list up to date.

Developer

  • Register the person responsible for initial environment setup in Access Permission Management so they can independently manage metric settings going forward.

Quick Start

To grant access permissions for the first time, follow the steps below to register a user.

  1. Click Settings > Metric Settings > Access Permission Management in the left sidebar.
  2. Click the Register button in the top-right corner.
  3. Enter the user ID to grant access.
  4. Click the Save button.

Note

Only users already registered in Access Permission Management can add or remove entries from the list.

View Access Permission List

View the list of users who currently have access to Metric Settings submenus.

Column Description
User ID Account ID of the user granted access
Created By User who registered the access permission
Created At Date and time the access permission was registered

Register Access Permission

Register a user to manage Metric Settings submenus.

  1. Click the Register button in the top-right corner of the list.
  2. Select the user ID to grant access. (Users displayed are based on the workspace administrator list.)
  3. Click the Register button.

Delete Access Permission

Remove access permissions for users who no longer need to manage metric settings.

  1. Select the user to remove from the list.
  2. Click the Delete button in the top-right corner.

  3. After deletion, the user can no longer modify data in Metric Settings submenus and will have read-only access.

  4. Editing is not supported. If changes are needed, delete and re-register.

Notes & Tips

  • If no users are registered in Access Permission Management, all Metric Settings submenus will be read-only for all users.
  • When a team member changes roles or leaves the company, remove their access immediately to prevent unauthorized changes.
  • It is recommended to always keep at least one user with access permissions.
