Dashboard

Overview

A dashboard integrates content created through the chart, funnel, and retention features onto a single page so you can analyze a series of data performance outcomes by purpose.

It enables efficient communication and collaboration by sharing analysis results within a team or organization.

What Can You Do?

Business/Marketing Users

  • If you keep key KPIs such as DAU, ARPU, and conversion rate on one screen, you can see the core status as soon as you open Analytics each morning.
  • Because you can share analysis results with team members immediately, you can significantly reduce the time spent writing separate reports.
  • If you create a dedicated dashboard with a campaign period as the date range, you can monitor performance more closely.

Data Analysts

  • Organizing dashboards by analysis purpose lets you manage your team's analytical assets systematically.
  • You can compare data from different periods side by side on the same screen.
  • With text panels, you can leave insights and comments next to charts and share analytical context with your team.

Developers

  • If you create a dedicated dashboard right after deploying a new event, you can monitor the status of the data pipeline in real time.

Quick Start

If you are creating a dashboard for the first time, follow the steps below to create your first dashboard.

  2. Select the workspace where you want to save the dashboard at the top.

Item Required Description
Period Optional Time unit to apply commonly to all panels (daily/weekly/monthly/hourly/minute)
Date Range Optional Date range to apply commonly to all panels

When selecting a date range, you can use the quick select buttons or choose dates directly through the calendar button.

The Recent and Last quick select buttons use different reference dates.

Type Reference Date Example
Recent N days Calculated from today Recent 7 days -> 7 days including today
Last N days Calculated from yesterday Last 7 days -> 7 days including yesterday
Note

If you set a dashboard-level date range, the dashboard setting takes precedence over the date range of individual panels. To apply different date ranges per panel, set the period to 'default'.

[Filter] Tab

Set common filters that apply to the entire dashboard.

  • Filters can be added by selecting either dimensions or segments, and the added filter is applied in bulk to all panels in the dashboard.
  • Filter conditions can be combined with AND / OR logical operators.
Note

The items displayed in the filter dimension expose attributes from all events used to build the panels. If a specific panel does not have that attribute, the filter will not apply to that panel.
