Manage market PID

The in-app purchase products registered in the store where the game will be serviced must also be registered in the console for proper receipt validation during in-app purchases. The market PID must be registered separately for mobile and PC. Since the market PID cannot be deleted once registered, it should be registered carefully, and if there are any errors in the registered information, you can click the edit button to correct it. The product price and currency of the registered PC market PID follow the display currency set in the Price Tier.

Market PID Registration¶

① Select the game to view. If you do not have permission for the game or if the game is not registered in the app center, the game will not be displayed.

After selecting the game, choose the app ID for that game. You cannot view the market PID registered for the entire game at once without selecting the app ID.

Enter the market PID to be queried. Leave it blank to query all market PIDs registered under the app ID.

Once you have selected the game and app ID, click the check button to confirm the details.

You can download the list of registered market PIDs.

⑥ Use the CSV template to register a large number of market PIDs at once.

This is used when registering one market PID at a time.

If the PID information is modified, the cache will be automatically updated so that the client can receive the market PID. If the automatic update does not occur, please click the cache refresh button to receive the new market PID on the client. This feature only works in SDK version 4.16.3 or higher.

When you click the sandbox synchronization button, you do not need to register the market PID that you registered in the commercial console again in the sandbox.

You cannot delete the registered market PID, but you can change it to unused.

Before clicking the inquiry button, the default screen has no content.

Registering Market PID with CSV¶

Click the CSV upload button to go to the registration page. CSV upload is only possible for adding market PIDs, and if it duplicates an already registered market PID, it cannot be registered. For PIDs that need modification, please click the corresponding PID to edit it on the detail page.

② Select the payment type for the game.

Mobile · Market Payment: Refers to in-app purchases from markets such as Google Play Store, Apple App Store, etc.
PG · Steam Payment: Refers to products purchased through PG companies or products from the PC market Steam.

Depending on the value selected in section ③, the AppID selection options will be displayed. It follows the operating system value set in the app center.

Mobile · Market Payment: Mobile app IDs such as Google Play Store, Apple App Store, etc. will be displayed.
PG · Steam Payment: App IDs set with the OS as Windows, macOS, iOS will be displayed.

The market of the selected app ID will be entered automatically.

Download the CSV template and enter the market PID according to the format.

- ⑧ For consumable general products, enter consumable; for subscription products, enter subscription.
- ⑨ Enter subscription period only for subscription products: Enter the applicable period among 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or annually.

PG · How to Create a CSV Template for Steam Payments

- ② Enter Market PID. Maximum 255 characters, including lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters (_ .).
- ③ Product name: Enter in the format language code, product name, product description. Maximum 55 characters. English is required.
- ④ Enter only the number of the corresponding tier among the registered Price Tiers.

Select the CSV file you created and upload it. You can delete the registered file by clicking the trash can.

Click save once all items have been entered.

Registering Individual Market PID¶

Click the Market PID button to go to the registration page.

Mobile · Registering Market Payment Market PID¶

① Select the game to register the PID.

② Select mobile · market payment.

③ The AppID for the mobile market will be displayed as a selection option.

The mobile market of the selected app ID will be automatically entered.

Enter the market PID. You can enter up to 255 characters using lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters (_ .).

You can enter up to 55 characters, and if you exceed that, the excess characters will be excluded and saved.

Select the representative currency.

Enter the price of the selected currency.

The major category is a required input, while the middle and minor categories are optional inputs.

If it is a subscription product, the subscription period must be entered as a requirement.

Select whether it is a promotional item.

Click save once all items have been entered.

PG · Registering Steam Payment Market PID¶

① Select the game to register the PID.

② Select PG · Steam payment.

③ PG · The AppID for Steam payment will be displayed as a selection option.

Enter the market PID. You can enter up to 255 characters using lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters (_ .). If you use the refund user re-payment, the market PID for Windows and macOS must be the same.

Click on the multilingual input for the product name, and enter the product name and description in the popup window. English is a required field and has a maximum of 55 characters. If it exceeds 55 characters, the excess characters will be excluded when saved.

⑥ Select a tier. If there is no data registered in the Price Tier, you cannot register the market PID.

The amounts by currency for the selected Tier will be displayed.

Enter product classification. The middle and subcategories are not required fields.

PG · Steam payment does not currently support subscription products. Click the save button once all items have been entered.

Precautions for Registering Market PID for PG Payment¶

When selling products through PG payment, if the pricing policy differs by sales platform (Apple, web store, Google, etc.), the market PID must be set differently for each platform.
- PG payment usage + same product + same price -> same market PID can be used
- PG payment usage + same product + different prices -> market PID separation is required
If the same market PID is used despite different pricing policies by platform, products with different prices may be recognized as the same product, leading to incorrect exposure of refund user re-purchase products.

Editing Registered Market PID¶

After checking the market PID, select the market PID to be modified and move to the detail page. Only items other than the market PID can be modified.
