Community Settings

Configure the community where in-game users can communicate and interact. Games can manage and design their communities using this feature, including operations, UI setup, and external service integration.

Get Started

  1. Select a project.

  2. Click the Start button.

Service Settings

These are the basic settings required to use the community.

Service Status

You can change the service status of the community by language.

  • The text in the description and remarks columns can be modified freely.
  • The only difference between the inspection and exit pages is the main text, and the rest of the functions are the same.
    • Normal: Changes to normal status where users can access each site.
    • Check Page: A site maintenance notice page will be displayed. Also, the site is set to maintenance status when first created.
    • End Page: Displayed as a page that can be used when the service has been terminated.

Use of Coupon Exchange

  • Decide whether to expose the Coupon Exchange Button.
  • The information required for the coupon exchange is automatically delivered.
    • When you go to the coupon exchange page through the community, the game server information and CS Code are automatically reflected.
  • The Coupon Exchange Button is only exposed to logged in users with a PlayerID.
    • e.g. Existing Hive members join the community before the game launch → Login is possible, but the Coupon Exchange Button won't be displayed.
  • If you do not want to use it on iOS devices, please use the Exclude iOS webview / Exclude iOS web options.

Use Brand Website

  • Decide whether to expose the Brand Site Button.
  • The Brand Site Button is not displayed in the in-game webview.

Play on PC Settings (Windows)

Decide whether to expose the Play Button to PCs that can run the PC game launcher.

  • You must connect the PC game AppID to the Play on PC Button.
  • When you press the Play on PC Button, the crossplay launcher for the connected Windows PC game will run. (MacOS will be available in the future.)
  • After logging in to the community, you will be automatically logged in when using PC games through the Play on PC Button.

TOP Post Banner Exposure Settings

  • Decide whether to use horizontal or vertical banners for the TOP Post Banner.
  • The TOP Post Banner is displayed at the top of the post title of the board page.
  • If you are using a horizontal banner, please upload an image with a 800*450px ratio.
  • If you are using a vertical banner, please upload an image with an 450*800px ratio.

General Bulletin Board Preview Image

  • The General Board automatically displays a preview image based on the images included in a post.
  • If you turn off the preview image for the General Board, the preview image will be hidden.

Main Screen

Configure UI elements displayed on the community main screen. Set skin, title, and content areas per language, and register them quickly with Bulk Upload.

Community Skin

Sets the background image for the community PC and mobile sites. - Displayed the same on both PC and mobile. - Recommended size: 5120*2880px. - You can upload jpg or png files. - Supports individual registration for 16 languages or bulk upload.

Community Title

  • Register the game title displayed in the community.
  • Up to 100 characters.

Community Subtitle

  • Register a subtitle displayed under the community title.
  • Use this for brief explanations, tags, or community introduction text.
  • Up to 100 characters.
  • Enter the title and video URLs for the YouTube section in the right layout area.
  • You can register up to 3 videos.
  • The title can be up to 30 characters.

Community SSO Integration

When moving between external sites that use Hive Web Login and the community, automatic login is supported. Logout is handled separately per service, and automatic logout is not supported.

  • For SSO to work, please enter the URL in the format below.
  • Notes
    • Set the address to include /api/auth/sso.
    • Send the access_token and refresh_token values via POST.
    • Enter the keyword configured in the site settings menu. - Only users with a generated PlayerID are supported. Learn More

  • Implement Sign-in Process
  • Using player_token and refresh_token, the system sends the access_token and refresh_token to the provided URL via POST. Then refer to SSO Integration Guide and implement the sign-in process yourself.

Content Area Settings

Select how posts are displayed on the main page and preview the result. - You can register up to 3 templates, and the 3-column layout is required. - If the allowed board types don’t match the templates, or if no boards exist in a newly created community, create a board first. - Check each template’s characteristics below.

Allowed Board Types Characteristics
Card Type • General Board, Image Board, Video Board • Shows up to 20 posts.
Gallery Type (1) • General Board, Image Board, Video Board • A total of 4 pieces of content are displayed.
• Only shows posts with attached images or videos.
• Thumbnails display the first image or video thumbnail from the post in a 1:1 ratio. Using square images (1:1) ensures clean display without cropping.
Gallery Type (2) • General Board, Image Board, Video Board • A total of 8 pieces of content are displayed.
• Only shows posts with attached images or videos.
• Thumbnails display the first image or video thumbnail from the post in a 1:1 ratio. Using square images (1:1) ensures clean display without cropping.
Double Column Type • General Board, Image Board, Video Board, One-Line Board • Displays up to 2 lines of the title or post content.
Slide Type • General Board, Image Board, Video Board • Only boards with Write Permission set to Admin can be selected.
• Thumbnails are automatically set to the first image in the post or to a designated video thumbnail. Recommended thumbnail size: 800 × 450px. Uploading at this size ensures full display without cropping.

Preview Options

Before saving, select PC or Mobile to preview the community main UI for each language.
