Auto Sign-in Key Management

When you access a website through the banner, the account information required for auto sign-in is transmitted in an encrypted format via a GET request. The 'Auto Sign-in Key Management' menu provides the auto sign-in key needed to decrypt the encrypted information. The website can use the auto sign-in key to verify the account information and process the auto sign-in.

Note

Account information is only transmitted when you navigate to a website that has a domain registered in 'Console > App Center > Manage Project > Hive Product Settings > Site Domain'.

 

Registering a Website Domain for Auto Sign-in

  1. Register the domain for the website that will support auto sign-in in 'Console > App Center > Manage Project > Hive Product Settings > Site Domain'.

Checking the Auto Sign-in Key

  1. The domains registered in the App Center will automatically appear in the list.
  2. The auto sign-in key allows you to decrypt and verify the encrypted account information.

Changing the Auto Sign-in Key

  1. Click the 'Change' button to change the key.
  2. After the change, the previously issued key can no longer be used.
