Crossplay launcher¶
Crossplay Launcher does not provide a download link because it is not a tool for app developers to download, install, or use; it only provides release notes. The Crossplay Launcher is a tool for app users to download, install, and use. When the developer provides the Crossplay Launcher to the user, the user installs and runs the Crossplay Launcher on their PC. Once the Crossplay Launcher is installed on the user's PC, it updates its version automatically every time it runs, so there is no need for reinstallation to use the latest version.

Also, when specifying the installation option as Folder Name, the app will be installed under C:/Program Files/Hive/{user_specified_folder_name}/, and when specifying the installation path as Installation Path, the app will be installed in the user-specified installation path. - We resolved an issue where a specific antivirus solution (AlYac) incorrectly detected the crossplay launcher as a virus during installation.
Known issues¶
- There is an error in certain versions of Windows Defender on Windows 11 that detects some files of the launcher as a threat. This may prevent the crossplay launcher from running.
