Hive Certification Key-based API end of service and transition to JWT-based APIs
Hive Server-to-Server (S2S) APIs that authenticate with a Hive Certification Key will end service on November 20, 2026. To strengthen API security, Hive provides APIs that use JWT (JSON Web Token) authentication. APIs that use a Hive Certification Key are marked as "End of support" in the developer guide.
Starting November 20, 2026, calls to the APIs scheduled for end of support will be restricted. If you use these APIs, please complete the transition to JWT-based APIs to avoid any disruption to your service.
Checklist for the transition
- Please check whether your game server calls any S2S APIs that use a Hive Certification Key.
- Please change your integration by following the JWT-based API guide that corresponds to the API you use, and verify that it works correctly.
