Step 1. Create app information

Creating app information is the process of creating a project and an App ID in the Hive Console to get started with Hive Axyl.

1. Create a project

A project is the top-level unit of work in Hive Axyl. The Hive Console manages apps by project. First create a project, and then configure the settings the app needs to use features such as authentication and payment. A project contains the App IDs and security keys that the app uses.

  1. Go to Hive Console > Project Settings > Project.
  2. Select the New project button.
  3. Enter a project ID and project name, and select the Create button.

2. Create an App ID

An App ID is an identifier that identifies an app in Hive Axyl. In one project, if you create an App ID for each combination of runtime environment, such as mobile or Windows PC, and store, such as Google Play or App Store, you can manage each distribution target separately.

  1. Go to Hive Console > Project Settings > App ID.
  2. Select the project you created earlier, and then select the Search button.
  3. Select the New App ID button.
  4. Select the runtime environments where the app runs, such as Android, iOS, or Windows. You can select one or more runtime environments.
  5. After you select the runtime environments, select the store for each runtime environment.
  6. Enter the App ID that matches each combination of runtime environment and store.
  7. Click the Create button to create an App ID for each selected combination.
