Coupon
'Coupon' is a feature that validates, on the Hive Axyl server, the coupon code a user enters in the app, puts the items set for the coupon in mail, and sends it to that user's in-app mailbox. Use 'Coupon' when you use coupon codes to grant items that the operator has decided on, such as event rewards.
When the operator issues and approves a coupon in the Hive Console, coupon codes are generated. The user enters the coupon code they received in the in-app coupon exchange. The in-app coupon exchange is the app screen where the user enters a coupon code, and the app implements it itself.

Tasks the app must implement
The main tasks the app must implement itself, separately from Hive Axyl, are as follows.
- Implementing the in-app coupon exchange UI
- Writing and displaying a message for each coupon redemption result
- Displaying grant mail in the mailbox UI
- Actually granting the items attached to mail, and verifying claims
Prerequisites
To provide the 'Coupon' feature, user login is required, and you must also implement the Mailbox feature in the app. For the order in which to implement coupons and the mailbox together, see Coupon reward implementation steps.
The operator prepares coupon codes in the Hive Console. The operator first registers the items to grant with coupons in Item registration and then issues the coupon in Coupon issuance.

The Hive Axyl SDK provides the Coupon redemption feature, which redeems the coupon code a user enters.
Coupon redemption
Coupon redemption is a feature in which the app client sends the coupon code the user entered to the Hive Axyl server to redeem it. When redemption succeeds, the Hive Axyl server sends grant mail containing the items set for the coupon to the logged-in user's in-app mailbox.
If the coupon code cannot be redeemed, a result categorized by reason is returned, such as a coupon that has already been used or a coupon whose usage period has ended. The app itself must decide on a message that fits the reason and display it to the user.
